QUESTION: Councillor M. McDonagh

To ask the Manager further to my representation of February 3rd, 2011 and July 7th, 2011 to provide an update on the request for pathways to be provided between Lealand Grove/Crescent and the Fonthill Road?

REPLY:

A petition was received from residents of the area in July 2011 for a footpath conection between Lealand Grove/Crescent and the New Nangor Road.

In acknowledging the petition, the residents were advised that the provision of a footpath would be subject to the identification of the necessary resources to undertake the works. As no budgetary provision was made for a footpath at this location in the 2011 budget, the matter will be considered in the context of the 2012 budget.
