That this Council congratulates Management on the huge success of this years 'Spooky Walk' in Corkagh Park

REPORT:

The first Spooky Walk organised by South Dublin County Council took place in Corkagh Park in 2010. The event was organised by the Community Department's Sports Office in conjunction with the Parks Department and a couple of thousand people attended on the day.

This year, 8,000 people turned up to the eventheld on Saturday 29th October for the Halloween-themed event. The feedback received has been very positive indeed and has proven to be extremely popular with families across the county, especially those with young children.  Great credit is due to all those staff  members who contributed to making the event the great success that it was and also the Gardai for their assistance on the day.
