MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Manager includes the laneway linking Butterfield Park with Pinewood Park in a Permeability Project- this laneway is in a seriously inadequate state of repair and has been raised by me on previous occasions on behalf of local residents - and qualifies for permeability funding, linking as it does, one part of Ballyroan parish to the shops, Community and Pastoral Centres and the Library and local bus route - is particularly treacherous for citizens with mobility challenges, and that the Manager present a report on the matter."

REPORT:

The Permeability Project is administered by Planning Department and concerns itself mainly with new projects. The laneway will be examined by the Area Engineer and any necessary repairs will be carried out.
