QUESTION NO. 2
QUESTION: Councillor T. Delaney
To ask the Manager that mature tree planting be carried out along the inside of the perimeter wall of the green space at the bottom of Watery Lane and Woodford Road in an effort to enhance its presentation?
REPLY:
Unfortunately due to the limited resources currently available, it will not be possible to provide mature tree planting on the Castle Park open space. It is acknowledged however, that additional planting around the perimeter of the site and along the boundary walls etc. would significantly enhance the open space and the surrounding area and this will be borne in mind, should funding or suitable plant material become available in the future.
