MOTION NO. 6

MOTION: Councillor B. Bonner

That the Manager would present a report on the possibility of connecting utilities to the changing room units belonging to Liffey Valley Rangers.  The club caters for a large number of adult and juvenile members.

REPORT:

The changing room units that are located in Ballyowen Park were provided by Liffey Valley Rangers following a series of discussions and meetings between the Council and Liffey Valley Rangers.   The meetings resulted in a number of terms of conditions which were agreed and signed off by both parties.  As the containers were temporary in nature the club did not apply for planning permission to site them.  This enabled the club to site the containers with little delay.

Arrangements are being made to meet with the club to discuss their future plans and proposals.
