QUESTION: Councillor C. King

"To ask the Manager to report on the success or otherwise of the 'bulbs not bonfires' initiative which was launched last year stating how many groups applied for the scheme, how many were successful in their application, how many were not and to state whether any decisions are outstanding from last years attempt to keep their green space clear?".

REPLY:

In total there were 29 applications for the Bulbs not Bonfires Scheme in 2010. Only 4 applicants qualified under the rules of the scheme. 25 applications did not qualify. There are no decisions outstanding from last year.
