"To ask the Manager to report on the €1million allocated to the provision of installing new windows in Council Housing stating (a) how much has been spent to date, (b) how much has been spent in Tallaght, (c) how many homes in total will have received new windows by the end of year 2011 based on the €1m allocated, (d) what was the average cost per house and finally (e) how many grade 5's will not be reached this year 2011".

The following is the current position in relation to the window expenditure from the €1 million allocation

Committed………..€205,676.84………..37 work in progress
Estimated………….€72,000.00………….12 being priced
Total……………….€927,696.………..175
Remaining…………€72,304.00…………approx. 12 houses
(b) Tallaght Area
Spent todate……..€307,804.76………..63 completed
Committed……… €156,050.07………..27 work in progress
Estimate…………..€48,000.00……………8 gone for pricing
Total………………..€511,854.83………….98
(c) 187 approx will be completed from the €1m budget.
(d) €6,000………….average cost per house
(e) 327 already graded 5 will not be reached this year. There is another 324 on an inspection list for grading.
