Cathaoirleach's Business

That the Manager would present a report on the extent of the consultation to date on the introduction of the one way system on the Nangor Road, Clondalkin and that Councillors would try to reach an all party political consensus on the issue in the interests of the health and safety of the pedestrians who use the road, particularly the pupils of the schools on the road who are very vulnerable at the moment.

REPORT:

The Traffic Section is currently finalising an information leaflet and accompanying map for distribution to all residents and businesses who may be affected by the one way system proposals. Comments will be sought on the proposals with a view to producing a scheme which optimises safety for pedestrians, especially school children using the road.
