FILLING OF SECTORAL VACANCY ON ARTS, CULTURE, GAEILGE, LIBRARIES & EDUCATION SPC (Ms M. Murphy)

REPLY:

The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure and Finance Committee Meeting held on 22nd September 2011:

"A vacancy exists on the Arts, Culture, Gaeilge, Education & Libraries Strategic Policy Committee following Ms Meg Murphy’s  resignation from this committee.  South Dublin Community Forum has nominated Ms Dympna Quinn to replace Ms Murphy, and it is now before the members to recommend approval to the nomination of Ms Dympna Quinn to the Arts, Culture, Gaeilge, Education & Libraries SPC."  End of Report to OP&F.

It was proposed by Councillor M. Duff, seconded by Councillor J. Hannon and RESOLVED:

“That Ms Dympna Quinn be nominated to fill the sectoral vacancy on the Arts, Culture, Gaeilge, Education & Libraries SPC following the resignation of Ms M. Murphy from the SPC.”

This matter is now before the Council for approval.
