NOMINATION TO CPLN AREA PARTNERSHIP  (Cllr. W. Lavelle)

REPLY:

The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure and Finance Committee Meeting held on 22nd September 2011:

"The current membership of the CPLN Area Partnership (previously known as Clondalkin Partnership) includes 3 Councillor positions currently representing the Clondalkin and Lucan areas.  Two of these positions are  held by Councillors E. Tuffy and M. McDonagh.  The third position is now vacant following Councillor W. Lavelle’s resignation from this Committee. CPLN Area Partnership have previously indicated that South Dublin County Council should nominate Councillors from the areas covered by the Partnership - i.e. Clondalkin, Palmerston, Lucan, Newcastle - to sit on the board to represent these areas.

The matter is now before the Members for their consideration."  End of Report to OP&F.

It was proposed by Councillor C. Brophy, seconded by Councillor T. Ridge and RESOLVED:

“That Councillor G. O’Connell be nominated to fill the vacancy on the CPLN Area Partnership following the resignation of Councillor W. Lavelle from the CPLN.”

This matter is now before the Council for approval.
