QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

To ask the Manager, further to my motion at the May meeting, to update on proposals to complete the footpath between Dodsboro Cottages and the Grotto, including a safe standing area in front of the grotto?

REPLY:

A proposal has been developed for the location identified in the question as requested but to date it has not been possible to identify a source of finance to carry out the works.

The Traffic Section have been requested to consider the inclusion of the proposal in their submissions to the NTA with a view to securing an allocation in 2012.
