QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

To ask the Manager, further to my question to the June meeting, to prioritise footpath improvements to Lucan Road between Esker Lane/Woodville and Ballydowd Grove as part of the 2012 footpath works programme?

REPLY:

The stretch of footpath referred to in the question will be considered with others for inclusion in the 2012 works programme. The draft 2012 programme will be prepared having regard to the available resources and will be primarily based on the prioritisation factors utilised in previous programmes.  It should be noted that in this particular case that the raising of the footpath at some of the locations will compromise existing driveways and entrances to premises.
