QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager to replace the boulders at the open space at Rosemount Shopping Centre, Ballyroan and to arrrange for the reinstatement of the green area and to arrange for the resurfacing of sections of the broken road surface in front of the local shops?"

REPLY:

The road in front of the shops has been examined by the Area Engineer. There have been several areas that have been patched by our crews, including the 2 ramps at this location. Notwithstanding this, the road has been included on the list of repair schemes in 2012.

The  bollards are concrete bollards with an exposed aggregate finish and are not currently in stock in the Roads Depot. The bollards will be ordered and erected.
