That the Manager would make a report on the operation of the ASH (Applicant Sourced Homes) Scheme in the Lucan Electoral Area, since its introduction.

REPORT:

The ASH Scheme was introduced to South Dublin County Council in July 2010.  The Council contacted 60 housing applicants in three tranches regarding the ASH Scheme, as a result 31 expressions of interest have been received from owners of properties within the Lucan Area to have their properties considered for inclusion in the Social  Housing Leasing Initiative.  Of these 2 have been tenanted through ASH, 5 were transferred to RAS, 19 were unsuccessful and 5 are pending.
