QUESTION NO. 22

QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

To ask the Manager to advise if this Council owns the area of land between the boundary walls to both the Foxborough Road green area and Thomas Omer Way/Grange Castle Road; and if so to request that the Council would ensure improved maintenance and general security of this area which is subject to very serious graffiti (on the boundary walls), trespassing, bonfires, drinking parties and illegal dumping?

REPLY:

This area of land is maintained by the Councils Park's Department.  They have been asked to inspect this area and investigate the alleged trespassing, bonfires and illegal dumping and to reply directly to Councillor Lavelle in this matter.
