MOTION NO. 9

MOTION: Councillor C. Jones

That the Manager will address the safety concerns at the pedestrian entrance gate to St. Lorcan’s BNS on Turret Road in Palmerston. These concerns arise from the availability of a dished pathway outside the pedestrian entrance/exit (an unintended result of recently carried out works at the school). Further that the Manager will agree to placing a barrier/railing to block children exiting onto the road at this location.

REPORT:

The Council will investigate the situation at the pedestrian entrance at this school and a further report will issue to the TMM on this matter.
