Taking in Charge Report
A further more detailed report for each development is available but the overall summary situation is as follows;
- Works are nearing completion in Griffeen Glen Boulevard following a claim on the bond and are ongoing in Mount Bellew and Larkfield.
- Bonds are in the process of being claimed in Hanstead and Tullyhall, where the Council are obtaining contractors for works. In relation to Moy Glas inspections are ongoing to assist in lodging a claim on the bond for this development.
- The Council are liaising with the receiver for Glenkerrin Homes at St Edmunds in relation to identification of areas completed to standard and to be completed. The receiver was appointed in May 2011.
- Inspections are pending at Adamstown Castle but cannot take place until the developer provides the CCTV footage of drainage in order that a cross-section of drains and sewers can be inspected.
- In Rossberry the Council are claiming security and obtaining contractors for works in the Hollioake part of the development but it may be necessary for enforcement proceedings in relation to some issues involving public lighting in that part developed by Kingscroft.
