MOTION: Councillor E. Higgins

That the Manager report on the plans for this years Palmerston Festival and details the funding and resources being made available for this event.

REPORT:

Palmerston Community Festival was organised  by Palmerstown Community Council.

South Dublin County Council  provided  barriers and chairs for one of their events, but was not otherwise involved.

S.D.C.C , particularly through its Community workers, has extensive experience of organising and running festivals such as this one over many years and would be more than happy to give whatever assistance is appropriate to Palmerstown Community Council.
