QUESTION: Councillor C. Jones

To ask the manager to detail the Resident/Environment Groups that availed of grants in Lucan and Palmerston through-out the recent Clean-Ups?

REPLY:

There have been nine applications from the Lucan/Palmerston area under the Council's Social Credit Scheme.

The following is a list of the groups who have applied:

Palmerston Court Resident’s Association                         Two applications

Esker Meadows Resident’s Association                           Three applications

Griffeen Community Development Group                          One application

Foxborough Maintenance Association                              One application

Finnstown Cloisters Resident’s Association                     One application

Balgaddy Working Together Group                                  One application

To date, four applications have been approved and the remaining five are currently being examined.

There has been 1 application from the Lucan/Palmerston area under the Community Clean Up Guidelines.

Johnsbridge Residents Association.
