MOTION NO. 9

MOTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

That this Committee requests the Manager to prepare plans and examine funding opportunities for an extension of the footpath along the west side of Dodsboro Road from its current endpoint before the grotto to the entrance of Dodsboro Cottages, to include a standing area in front of the grotto which could also involve a raised share-surface area over which access to Tandy’s Lane may still be allowed.

REPORT:

The area has been inspected. A proposal is currently being prepared to provide a path at the missing section. A standing area at the grotto can be included in this proposal. When the drawing is complete, it will be submitted for approval and a source of funding will be sought.
