QUESTION: Councillor E. Higgins

To ask the Manager for a report on the derelict site at Old Lucan Road, Palmerston opposite the Beehive restaurant (former garage site & former temporary bus terminus) which has become an eyesore, seriously detracting from the visual attractiveness of this residential area?

REPLY:

The site in question is in the ownership of the Council.  Arrangements are being made to have the area cleared of weeds and generally tidied up.  A development brief is also being prepared at present in order that the site can be advertised for sale.
