MOTION NO. 20

MOTION: Councillor C. Jones

That the manager will examine the area behind and beside Weirview Cottages under the Derelict Sites Act and that the manager will also examine if there are any other implications for the Council with regard to Conservation matters or Health and Safety issues. That the manager will also liaise with Fingal County Council in the matter.

REPORT:

Weirview Cottages, Lucan, are in the administrative area of South Dublin County Council and are listed on the Record of Protected Structures in the South Dublin County Council Development Plan 2010 - 2016.  However, South Dublin County Council has no jurisdiction in the areas beside and behind Weirview Cottages as they are in the administrative area of Fingal County Council.  The terms of the motion will be forwarded to Fingal County Council for attention.
