QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager for an update on the status of the derelict former McHugh's Site, Greenhills, and to make an updated statement on the legal proceedings in this case, including a timeline of actions taken by the Council since June 2009?"

REPLY:

Members will be aware that the Council is pursuing a Derelict Sites levy of €60,000 from the registered owner of the site of the former Shopping Arcade, St James Road, Walkinstown, Dublin 12.  The Council brought a Motion to the High Court seeking to obtain Judgement, the Notice of Motion is listed for hearing before the Master of the High Court in October, 2011.
