QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager for an update on the Masterplan for Beechfield Park, Cherryfield, and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

A draft Masterplan for Beechfield Park has been discussed with the local residents.  It is also intended to also communicate with the other stakeholders who have an interest in the park, e.g. the football and tennis clubs.

In essence this is a plan for a phased series of works to be undertaken over a number of years that will upgrade the physical fabric of the park and that is within the capacity of the Council’s current resources.

It is intended to present the details of the Masterplan to the Elected Members at a future Area Committee Meeting following the completion of the discussions with the local stakeholders.
