QUESTION: Councillor T. Gilligan
To ask the Manager how much the Council has spent on printing in 2010? What % of this is done in the county? what % is done in Ireland? % abroad?
REPLY:
During 2010 the Council spent a a total of €75,300 (excl VAT) on printing costs (excluding photocopying). 100% of the printing was undertaken by companies located in Ireland of which 87.8% was spent in companies located within Dublin City and Counties.
A total of €250 was paid to a company in County Wicklow representing 0.3% of the gross spend, a total of €731 was paid to a company in County Kerry representing 0.9% of the gross spend, and a total of €8,370 was paid to a company in County Kildare representing 11% of the gross spend.
