FILLING OF VACANCIES ON VARIOUS COMMITTEES / STATUTORY BODIES (COUNCILLOR D. KEATING)

REPLY:

The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure & Finance Committee Meeting held on 24th March 2011:

“A number of vacancies exist on the following committees/statutory bodies previously held by Councillor Derek Keating who has recently been elected to Dáil Éireann and subsequently disqualified from membership of these committees

Lucan Area Committee

Audit Committee

Liffey Valley Management Advisory Committee 

It is a matter for the Council to appoint a replacement(s) to the above positions and this is now before the Members for consideration."  End of Report to OP&F.

It was proposed by Councillor W. Lavelle, seconded by Councillor M. Corr  and RESOLVED:

“That Councillor E. Coburn be nominated to fill the vacancy on the Audit Committee.”

This matter is now before the Council for approval.
