FILLING OF VACANCIES ON VARIOUS COMMITTEES / STATUTORY BODIES (COUNCILLOR D. KEATING)

REPLY:

The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure & Finance Committee Meeting held on 24th March 2011:

“A number of vacancies exist on the following committees/statutory bodies previously held by Councillor Derek Keating who has recently been elected to Dáil Éireann and subsequently disqualified from membership of these committees

Lucan / Clondalkin Area Committee

Audit Committee

Liffey Valley Management Advisory Committee 

It is a matter for the Council to appoint a replacement(s) to the above positions and this is now before the Members for consideration.  End of Report to OP&F.

It was proposed by Councillor W. Lavelle, seconded by Councillor M. Corr  and RESOLVED:

“That Councillor E. Higgins be nominated to fill the vacancy on the following Committees / Statutory Bodies:

Lucan / Clondalkin Area Committee

Liffey Valley Management Advisory Committee.”

This matter is now before the Council for approval.
