FILLING OF VACANCIES ON VARIOUS COMMITTEES / STATUTORY BODIES (COUNCILLOR R. DOWDS)

REPLY:

The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure & Finance Committee Meeting held on 24th March 2011:

“A number of vacancies exist on the following committees/statutory bodies previously held by Councillor Robert Dowds who has recently been elected to Dáil Éireann and subsequently disqualified from membership of these committees

Lucan / Clondalkin Area Committee

Association of City & County Councils

Clondalkin Local Drugs Task Force

Liffey Valley Management Advisory Committee

SDCC Joint Policing Committee

 It is a matter for the Council to appoint a replacement(s) to the above positions and this is now before the Members for consideration.”  End of Report to OP&F.

It was proposed by Councillor E. Tuffy, seconded by Councillor M. Corr     and RESOLVED:

“That Councillor B. Bonner be nominated to fill the vacancy on the following Committees / Statutory Bodies:

 Lucan /Clondalkin Area Committee

Clondalkin Local Drugs Task Force

Liffey Valley Management Advisory Committee

SDCC Joint Policing Committee.”

This matter is now before the Council for approval.
