FILLING OF VACANCIES ON VARIOUS COMMITTEES / STATUTORY BODIES (COUNCILLOR S. CROWE)

REPLY:

The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure & Finance Committee Meeting held on 24th March 2011:

“A number of vacancies exist on the following committees/statutory bodies previously held by Councillor Crowe who has recently been elected to Dáil Éireann and subsequently disqualified from membership of these committees.

Tallaght Area Committee

Dublin Bus Forum

Dublin Mid-Leinster Regional Health Forum

Dublin Regional Authority

SDCC Joint Policing Committee

Southern & Eastern Regional Assembly

South Dublin County Tourism Board

 It is a matter for the Council to appoint a replacement(s) to the above positions and this is now before the Members for consideration and recommendation.”  End of Report to OP&F.

It was proposed by Councillor C. King, seconded by Councillor M. Corr and RESOLVED:

“That Councillor M. Devine  be nominated to fill the vacancy on the following Committees / Statutory Bodies:

Tallaght Area Committee

Dublin Bus Forum

Dublin Mid-Leinster Regional Health Forum

Dublin Regional Authority

SDCC Joint Policing Committee."

This matter is now before the Council for approval.
