That the Manager would give an updated report on actions taken or proposed to be taken by the Council to deal with a house adjacent to the house (address supplied) in Rosewood Grove, which appears to be derelict

REPORT:

The Councils Area Engineer carried out an inspection of this house, and deemed it to be in a derelict state, within the definition contained in Section 3 of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990.  The registered owners of this property are deceased and this case has been referred to the Councils Law Department for advise in relation to enforcement options available to the Council having regard to the ownership of the house. 

A complaint in relation to waste and debris in the front garden has been referred to the Environmental Health Officer to carry out an up to date inspection of this house.
