MOTION NO. 9

MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

Given the huge public interest and support and the unprecedented cross-grouping support of the elected members, notwithstanding the recent briefing provided to the members of this Committee, this Committee calls on the Manager responsible to set in motion the process for extending the Liffey Valley SAAO as was provided for in the 2004-2010 CDP and is again contained in the 2010-2016 CDP recently voted on by the elected members and that the Manager provide a firm date when a report on the matter be brought to a meeting of this Committee for debate, recommendations and action.

REPORT:

It is intended to have an informal briefing for members of the committee in respect of the motion immediately after the meeting on the 22nd March to discuss options for in respect of the Liffey Valley SAAO.
