QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager to provide for a roadsweep and general clean up on St Brendan's Crescent and the parallel laneways, Greenhills, Dublin 12?"

REPLY:

St. Brendan's Crescent is on the Council's road-sweeping schedule which provides for roads within estates to be swept every three months.  Accordingly, St. Brendan's Crescent is due to be swept this week and again on the week of 17th June.  Full details of the road-sweeping schedule can be found at this link.

At present, laneways are not covered by the road-sweeping schedule but when dumping occurs in laneways the Cleansing section remove material but they do not provide a litter picking service due because of staff resources.
