That this Area Committee requests that the Traffic Management Committee consider traffic calming measures on Station Road, Clondalkin approaching the junction with the 9th Lock Road and in the vicinity of James Connolly Park and Station Close.

REPORT:

The Council has made application to the NTA for funding to install traffic signals at the junction of Station Road and Ninth Lock Road to regulate the movements of traffic and pedestrians. The NTA has sought further information. Should such funding be received the signals will be installed and the matter of traffic calming can then be examined in the light of commitments already given and the funding available.
