MOTION NO. 9

MOTION: Councillor M. McDonagh

That this Area Committee requests that the Traffic Management Committee consider traffic calming measures  on St Cuthbert's Road in the vicinity of Kilmahuddrick Estate.

REPORT:

The area comprising  Kilcronan, Kilmahuddrick, Grangeview, Deansrath and Melrose was selected as the No.1 scheme in the Traffic Calming Programme 2.  St. Cuthbert's Road is included in this area.  However, as there is no budget for traffic calming measures in 2011 it is not possible to indicate when the draft design of the traffic calming scheme will be available.
