Re:    Proposed Transfer of Land at Castlewarden, Straffan, Co. Kildare to Philip Murphy.

The Council proposes to transfer the site outlined in red and hatched in blue on Drawing No. LA/53/10 - having an area of 281 square metres or thereabouts to Philip Murphy, Sandiacre, Castlewardan, Straffan, Co Kildare, for the nominal sum of €100 (one hundred euro) in accordance with Section 211 of Planning and Development Act, 2000 and subject to the provisions of Section 183 of the Local Government Act, 2001.

As part of the terms and conditions for the acquisition of lands from Philip Murphy in respect of the South Dublin County Council Compulsory Purchase (N7 Rathcoole to Kildare County Boundary - Road Improvement Scheme) Order 2002 the Council proposed on completion of the scheme to dispose of any portion of the lands not required back to Philip Murphy.  It is proposed to transfer these lands for a nominal sum of €100 (one hundred euro) subject to the approval of the members.
