QUESTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave

"To ask the Manager to give a report on the recurring drainage problem that backs up when heavy rain falls and floods the bike shop at side of house 61Pearse Brothers Park?" This same motion was submitted in Feb.2010 but the problem still exists?"

REPLY:

Works were carried out in 2010 by SDCC Drainage Department to rectify a problem with a drain at this location. The drain is now correctly connected to the public surface wated drain. It is noted that internal drainage issues associated with the premises and the bike shop are the responsibility of the Resident who has been informed of this by Drainage Department staff.
