To ask the Manager to report on the adequacy of the recent gritting schedule with reference to Griffeen Avenue and Castle Road?

REPLY:

Winter gritting takes place on all National roads and major distributor roads.

The priorities are  National Routes followed by Regional //Local Roads acting as major Bus Routes.

- Griffeen Avenue for its entire length, i.e. from the junction with the Outer Ring Road to the Junction with Esker Road;

- Castle Road from its junction with the Fonthill Road to the Outer Ring Road Junction.
