That this Committee recommends that the Manager requests the Park's Department to plant suitable fast growing trees on lands owned by the Presbyterian Church alongside the N4 in Lucan, following the removal of trees from the piece of land acquired from the Church lands for the N4 Upgrade Project, to reduce the noise levels which have increased substantially at this location as a result of the removal of the trees.

REPORT:

All accommodation works associated with the N4 upgrade at this location has been carried out and there is no funding available from the National Roads Authority for the provision of additional planting.
