QUESTION NO.12

QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

To ask the Manager to report on implementation of the Croke Park Agreement with respect to South Dublin County Council and to advise on what reform proposals are being put forward by management?

REPLY:

The Local Action Plan for South Dublin has been finalised by Management and submitted to the DoEHLG. Briefings for staff have been undertaken and meetings have taken place with the unions representing staff.

Timescales are set out for each action identified in the plan and a progress monitoring system has been put in place.  Currently a protocol is being agreed between management and unions for progression of the actions under the terms of the Agreement.

Management have identified actions under all headings in the plan addressing re-structuring, productivity and performance, e-government, procurement.
