MEETING OF CLONDALKIN AREA COMMITTEE

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

QUESTION NO. 3

QUESTION: Councillor R. Dowds

To ask the Manager for a report on what is happening to the land beside 1 St. Mark's Gardens, Clondalkin?

REPLY:

The area of land in question was originally part of the garden of an adjoining dwelling but is now fenced off.

The area is being used as a dumping ground by local people but no one appears willing to identify the culprits which would enable the Litter Warden to take enforcement action.  The fencing was repaired and the area cleared of rubbish last year but this did not stop the dumping.

It is not proposed to take any further action in relation to this plot of ground at present.
