To ask the Manager to give the most up to date situation with regard to a community centre facility for Adamstown?

REPLY:

Castlethorn Construction confirmed in August 2010 that they remain committed to the delivery of the Adamstown Community Centre. It remains the intention of Castlethorn Construction to proceed with the project as soon as the funding environment permits, however there has been no development in terms of progress to date. In the meantime, space in the existing school buildings is available for use by the Adamstown community.
