MOTION NO. 11

MOTION: Councillor R. Dowds

That the Manager presents a report on No. 2 Lealand Walk, Clondalkin.

REPORT:

The house at 2 Lealand Walk, Clondalkin, was inspected by the Area Engineer on the 21st September, 2010 and was declared derelict under the Derelict Sites Act, 1990.  A Section 11 Notice has been issued to the registered owner, recommending that the following works be completed in order to render the property non derelict:

• Remove rubbish
• Paint house
• Repair roof
• Repair and fix windows

The property will be re-inspected on expiry of the Section 11 Notice, and if the works outlined above have not been completed satisfactorily, the site may be placed on the Derelict Sites Register and an annual levy demanded, pursuant to Section 8 of the Act.
