The 2007 Industrial Survey, based on the 2004 Development Plan (as varied) indicates that in the Lucan - Clondalkin area, excluding Grange Castle, there were 612 hectares . Zoned āEā, of which 201.5 hectares were undeveloped. A further 215 hectares were zoned EP 1,2, and 3, mainly in the Clondalkin electoral area (excluding Grange Castle) as part of the County Development Plan 2010-2016. It is estimated that there are currently in excess of 400ha of land available for industrial and commercial development, excluding Grange Castle, in the Lucan-Clondalkin area, the majority of which is regarded as serviced or serviceable.
