QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh 2009

"To ask the Manager to consider the removal of the  Graffiti on the wall all along the walls at Belgard  Heights Tallaght Dublin 24 and the planting of  'creeper' plants  to prevent the same vandalism being carried out again?"

REPLY:

The local Litter Warden has inspected the general area within the Belgard Heights estate and has located very small amounts of graffiti within the estate.  These are being listed for attention by the Graffiti Removal Crew.  The Environmental Services Department is not in a position to provide planting within estates.  The removal of graffiti has proven to be effective in deterring continued targetting of the same locations in many instances
