Social Inclusion Week Screening of the DVD Garden for All Seasons. South Dublin Social Inclusion Unit and Parks Department have worked closely with Menni Services in Tallaght (connected to St. John of God) towards the creation of a Sensory Garden in Sean Walsh Park, Tallaght. The project commenced in September 2008 and has developed beyond all expectations. The clients of Menni Services (Children & Adults with Disabilities mainly from the Tallaght Area) are using the outdoor garden for horticultural therapy and instruction on a weekly basis. The project won the overall prize in the category “Innovation in Developing / Supporting Partnerships” in the St. John of God Innovation Awards 2010. | Tuesday 16th November from 1pm – 2pm.
