MOTION: Councillor R. Dowds

That the Manager presents a report on the feasibility of closing Mill Lane (at the rear of the Clondalkin Sports & Leisure Centre) by lockable gate each night when the Sports & Leisure Centre closes.

REPORT:

Remedial works have been completed on the gate structure at the top end of Mill Lane.  Management at the Leisure Centre have re-introduced lockdown at the close of business each day. Signage has been erected to inform the public. This control has stopped nocturnal traffic and addressed most of the anti-social activity.
