QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager, in light of the improvements to the small open space between houses 16 and 17 Orlagh Grove as a result of the Boherboy Scheme, that additional tress be planted to screen the wall from the estate onto the community school?"

REPLY:

It is not the policy of the Environmental Services Department to plant trees over or immediately beside sewers or water mains as the tree roots interfere with these services and cause problems in the future.
