QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"To ask the Manager to ensure that a review of parking takes place for Whitehall Close - earlier this year emergency vehicles were unable to gain access to the top of the close due to parking by non residents?"  

REPLY:

Whitehall Close is provided with double yellow lines on each side at the entrance to the road. These were provided in order to insure that the area is kept clear for general and emergency access. Enforcement is a matter for the Garda Authorities.This matter will be discussed at the next Traffic Management Meeting.
