QUESTION: Councillor P. Kearns

"To ask the manager to arrange for the immediate repair of two sections of the footpath on Kennington Road at- 37/38 ESB box and 45/46 ESB box. Both of these sections are in a serious state of disrepair and pose a real threat to the health and safety of pedestrians?"

REPLY:

Sections of path have been uplifted due to the action of tree roots. Roads staff will liaise with Parks staff to arrange for the removal of the offending trees and the repair of the paths at those locations.
