REPORT OF JOINT POLICING COMMITTEE

REPLY:

The Joint Policing Committee met on 10^th September in Clondalkin Civic Centre.  The report of the meeting of May 10th  was adopted.

 The members present considered and noted the following:

·        Data Sharing Initiative presented by Joe Horan, County Manager

·        Bonfire initiative presented by Yvonne Dervan

·        Report of Parks Sub-group presented by Cllr. William Lavelle

·        Garda Reports presented by Chief Superintendent John Manley and Chief Superintendent Declan Coburn.

·        Report on Local Policing Fora in Tallaght and Clondalkin areas

·        Presentation on South Dublin County Council Draft Anti-social Behaviour Strategy

 A number of documents were also circulated:

·        Criminal Sanctions Document

·        Report from Restorative Justice Services

·        Review of Byelaws by Waterways Ireland

 All these documents are available on the CMAS System

 The next meeting is scheduled for Friday 19^th November, 2010
